About I💗Philanthropy
Our story
Established in 2017, I💗Philanthropy (I 💗 P) started as a donor-advised fund and personal philanthropic initiative. What began as a way to give back and invest in social causes of personal interest evolved as friends and new supporters joined in on the giving. Since inception, I 💗 P has awarded financial scholarships, given to college-based programs, and helped families during the Covid-19 pandemic. Today, I 💗 P is a 501c3 nonprofit committed to facilitating charitable giving while also encouraging others to share in the joy of giving.
At I💗Philanthropy, we simply have a passion for serving our community through our giving and our programs are reflective of that passion. Our defined communities include: women and girls, the college community, the Black community, and other communities of color.

I 💗 P believes in showing genuine concern about the needs of our defined communities through action. Our compassion is rooted in faith and driven by the scripture: "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” Hebrews 13:16 ESV
integrity
I 💗 P is committed to transparency in our operations and our giving. We are serious about being good stewards of our own reputation and the reputation of our supporters and the communities in which we invest.
Empowerment
I 💗 P values the perspectives of our communities and our giving programs aim to be impactful in ways that are meaningful to those who seek funding.
